Tasting Notes

Deep purple hue. Opulent scents of blackberry pie, boysenberry, blueberry, cassis, and anise jump readily out of the glass. These bold flavors persist and intensify in the palate. With voluptuous tannins and modest acidity, this wine keeps expanding in the palate. The soft and hedonistic finish make this a wine to remember. Drink now through 2025.

Central Coast

Our Rob’s Red is named after our founder and proprietor Rob Jensen.  It’s a Bordeaux blend from vineyards in the Central Coast AVA, primarily the Santa Cruz Mountains.  The blend of this wine changes every vintage, but it remains a perennial favorite among our wine club members.  It was actually inspired by Robert Mondavi who was a big influence to Rob and Diana Jensen during Testarossa Winery’s early days.
