Wine Tastings

Discover the wines that have made Testarossa one of California’s most acclaimed Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producers. Whether you’re joining us for a classic daily tasting or one of our limited specialty experiences, each visit offers an opportunity to explore exceptional wines in the historic winery, just minutes from downtown Los Gatos.

Choose from a variety of guided tasting experiences, including current releases, rare library wines, vineyard-focused flights, and exclusive vertical and horizontal tastings offered throughout the year. Our knowledgeable wine educators will guide you through the stories behind the vineyards, vintages, and winemaking that make every glass memorable.

Tasting Room

Daily 12pm – 6pm (last tasting at 5pm)

Classic Indoor Tasting

Walk through our dramatic stone cave to the historic tasting room to enjoy a guided tasting of five single vineyard and appellation wines. Guests can upgrade to a JRS tasting which includes single vineyard and reserve wines.

$30 non-members/complimentary for club members | 60 minutes

Wine Club Exclusive: Classic Outdoor Tasting

Features five single vineyard and appellation wines served on a beautiful tasting patio surrounded by trees.

Sensory Table Tasting Experience

Explore wine through an interactive tasting experience that engages all the senses. Sample fresh fruits, herbs, spices, and small bites while matching their aromas and flavors to mystery glasses of wine. Rather than focusing on formal tasting rules, this approachable class reveals how scent, texture, and flavor work together, helping participants discover their own palate in a fun and memorable way.

Wine & Chocolate Pairing

Discover how wine and chocolate can complement and elevate one another in this delicious tasting experience. Explore different styles of gourmet chocolate and learn which wines best enhance their unique flavors, textures, and sweetness. Taste, compare, and find your favorite pairings along the way.

Maximum party size is 8 guests (including non-tasters and children). For groups of 9–19, please visit our Group Experiences page. For 20+ guests, contact our Private Events team. Parties of 6 or more require a $15 per person credit card hold and are subject to a 20% service charge. The hold is charged for cancellations made within 24 hours. Select Wine Club members are exempt.
Outside desserts are permitted only in the JRS Terrace. A $3 per guest dessert service fee applies. No other outside food or beverages, decorations, balloons, or confetti are permitted.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
Guests visiting the JRS Terrace must be 21 years or older.
