Santa Cruz Mountains Appellation - Wednesday, Nov 1 - $45

Learn about Americas’ first elevation based appellation. The Santa Cruz Mountains has played an important role in the history of winemaking in California, with roots going back to the mid-1800’s, with legendary winemakers such as Paul Masson, and Martin Ray. Recognized as an AVA in 1981, the Santa Cruz Mountains Appellation was among the first to be defined by its mountain topography. We will take a virtual tour from the north, near Woodside, to Corralitos in the south. Reservation needed.

The Science behind Wine - Wednesday, Nov 8 - $35

Science is not only for nerds. Our Production Team's Technical Director Bill Snyder and Wine Educator Bob Zamora will help you understand some of the science behind wines and winemaking. We will also taste some cellar experiments and learn about the chemistry behind wine, such as how sugar and acid effect wine. Reservation needed.

California Appellation Tour - Wednesday, November 15 - $50

Let’s take a virtual tour and compare the 6 different appellations that make up Testarossa's single vineyard wines. With wine in our glasses we’ll “visit” the Russian River, Santa Lucia Highlands, Chalone, Arroyo Grande Valley, Santa Maria Valley, and south to Sta. Rita Hills. We will discuss the unique climates, soils, and marine influences that make these regions so special. Reservation needed.
