Telesales Associate/Wine Club Ambassador

Position 

This position is responsible for inside sales of a luxury brand via telephone.

Reporting Requirements 

This position reports to the Direct to Consumer Manager with key interaction with members of every department.

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Inside wine sales via telephone to the existing Testarossa Winery database
  • Maintain daily call log
  • Ensure accuracy of customer profile in database
  • Report and correct customer profile discrepancies
  • Enter new customer profiles into database
  • Exceed sales goals set by the Director of Hospitality
  • Process all orders daily and submit to the Shipping department
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Professional Requirements 

  • Must have previous sales experience
  • The ability to act professionally on the telephone
  • Ability to overcome customer objections and close the sale
  • Strong Verbal Sales Skills, ability to utilize effective questioning skills and closing techniques 
  • Must be self-motivated, assertive, organized and detail oriented
  • Proficient knowledge of computer software
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Sufficient first-hand knowledge of wine and wine-related topics
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
