Antonio Galloni Rewards Testarossa's 2012 Vintage with High Marks

"This is a gorgeous set of wines from Testarossa. Unfortunately I was not able to taste the entire range, but I hope to see the rest of the 2012s later this year. In 2012, winemaker Bill Brosseau opted for lower temperatures than normal for his Pinots, as he felt there was more than enough inherent richness in the fruit. As always, the Testarossa Pinots are made entirely from destemmed fruit. The 2012 Pinots were aged in tight-grain low toast barrels." ~ Antonio Galloni

Testarossa's 2012 Vintage Receives Rave Reviews From International Wine Review

"The 2012 growing season was excellent and the quality of the grapes is revealed in the wines. Weather conditions allowed for long hang time, full ripening of the fruit, and abundant yields. The whites and reds exhibit rich flavors with good acidity and structure that will allow for good aging over the coming years. The Chardonnays can generally be enjoyed now for up to five years; the Pinot Noirs for seven to ten years."-International Wine Review
