Event Service Staff

Position 

This position is responsible for providing the best guest experience possible at all private events by offering excellent customer service, full catering/beverage service and educating customers on Testarossa and its history.

Reporting Requirements 

This position reports to the Event Sales Manager and Event Captain, with key interaction with members of every department. 

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Maintain winery image to reinforce standards of the brand
  • Positive attitude
  • Reviewing Event Order as furnished by the Events Coordinator
  • Executing all tasks that are necessary before, during and after an event including but not limited to: preparation of glasses, table set up/tear-down, food and beverage service
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures
  • Reinforcing the quality control of wine and wine inventory
  • Ensuring the client’s expectations are exceeded throughout the event
  • Educating guests about the Testarossa history and wines
  • Accurate use of the registers
  • Maintaining the aesthetics of the winery
  • Securing the building premises (including lights and event parking gate) after an event
  • All other duties as assigned.

Professional Requirements 

  • Must have 2 years serving or catering experience.
  • Passion for wine in your day-to-day life
  • Positive attitude
  • Event experience: ability to multi-task and maintain organization of an event
  • Available evenings,  a minimum of three weekends per months and holidays
  • Professional appearance
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
