Doctor’s Vineyard is located at about 350-540 ft. in elevation and has a Southeastern exposure. Testarossa currently receives 40 of the 194 acres of Pinot Noir planted at Doctor’s. The vineyard was originally planted in 1991 and Testarossa’s blocks include more than 10 different Pinot Noir clones. Both Lone Oak and Doctor’s are certified sustainable.
"Deep red hue. This Doctor’s Pinot Noir shows engaging scents of ripe cherry, ripe cranberry, sage and crème brulee immediately. Upon aeration, notes of mandarin orange, roasted strawberry, pomegranate, and cloves add complexity to this hedonistic wine. On the palate, the red fruits and citrus persist while the spice fades. Lively acidity and supple tannins unite in a refreshing and balanced feeling. Careful use of oak leads to a balanced and supple end to this wine. Enjoy now through 2026." ~ Director of Winemaking Bill Brosseau
