The closest that Testarossa has to an estate vineyard, Dos Rubios represents a partnership between two red heads: Testarossa Founder, Rob Jensen and Vineyard Grower, Kirk Williams. Director of Winemaking, Bill Brosseau has worked with Williams to design the vineyard from ground-up having planted it in 2008. Since that time, the quality keeps increasing and carries a unique character like many of our other single vineyards from the Santa Lucia Highlands.
Dos Rubios Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are two of four monopoles for Testarossa. This means that no other winery makes wines with these grapes and we receive 100% of the fruit. The other two monopoles are Guidotti and Fogstone Vineyard Pinot Noirs.
